Sheron Wray is the creator of Texterritory, an award-winning performance format that integrates the audiences' use of their cell phones with live performance. Formerly a principal dancer with the London Contemporary Dance Theater and the Rambert Dance Company, Sheron was awarded a National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts fellowship in the UK in 2002, where she began her research on using technology to dissolve the line between audience and performers.
About TEDx: TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events offered in the spirit of ideas worth sharing that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talk videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* See https://www.ted.com/tedx for more information.
